Mission Hills High School Students Tour USC
Recently, the Palomar College GEAR UP Partnership Program sponsored a field trip to the USC campus. Mission Hills High GEAR UP Outreach Coordinator Laura Aparicio organized a full day of learning "college knowledge facts". All 54 students received a tour, learned admission requirements and how best to prepare for student life. The guide also mentioned all the benefits of living on campus and opportunities given by USC. Students experienced what college life is like from a Q/A presentation. Later a very special presentation was put together by a holocaust survivor from the Shoah Foundation Institute.
