The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce holds two festivals each year:
The Grand Spring Festival held in April features Education Avenue, kid's area, live entertainment, Beer Garden and over 300 vendor booths.
The Grand Fall Festival (note the new name and date) held in October will feature an Oktoberfest atmosphere, Beer Garden, kid's area, live entertainment and over 300 vendor booths.
Both the San Marcos Grand Spring and Fall (formerly Summer) Festivals are family traditions. Experience delightful sights, sounds and smells to a large crowd and over 300 wonderfully unique vendors. The Festivals' Beer Gardens include local breweries and well known suppliers. A children's area features rides for children of all ages. The Festival route is dotted with a wide variety of delicious food vendors.
