GEAR UP Students Take a field trip to CSU Long Beach

The Palomar College Partnership Program from Mission Hills High School took 55 students to CSU Long Beach.  This was one of many field trips scheduled this Spring.  The fieldtrip held on February 27, was packed with informative and Q/A sessions.  Since GEAR UP has cohorts of graduating class 2011 and 2012, many of the Juniors found this field trip insightful and exciting. San Marcos High also attended with 51 students.  After a full day of learning about how and what to prepare for a CSU college, all students took a tour of the Queen Mary. Pictured are some of the MHHS students in front of the Art Museum at CSULB campus. The students are reminded "If I Plan To Learn, I Must Learn To Plan".
