Nestled between North County's two full-service hospitals, San Marcos is located in the heart of North County's Healthcare service providers. To the west of San Marcos is the Tri-City Medical Center.
A Center for Medical Excellence
Tri-City Medical Center is recognized nationally for excellent medical and professional staff, state-of-the-art medical care and highly rated patient services. A Center for Emergency Care and Disaster Preparedness
Tri-City Medical Center offers 24/7 expertises from physicians using the latest emergency medical technology. As the second busiest emergency room in San Diego County, Tri-City treats more than 65,000 residents annually. Tri-City remains at the forefront in planning for regional disaster response and in the event of a disaster are prepared to serve as a community medical receiving center for ill and injured patients.

To the east of San Marcos is the Palomar-Pomerado Health Center. Located in Escondido, Palomar-Pomerado Health Center was listed as one of the top 100 orthopedic hospitals in the nation. Along with this distinction, Palomar-Pomerado Health Center also boasts North County's only state-of-the-art Trauma Center. Palomar-Pomerado Health Center services include intensive care, a nationally noted cardiac unit, a family-oriented Birth Center, and outpatient services including the Palomar-Pomerado Continuing Care Center and two skilled-nursing facilities.
Also found within the city limits of San Marcos is North County Health Services (NCHS) and Graybill Medical Group.
North County Health Services (NCHS) is a private not-for-profit health care organization created in 1973. It operates 9 clinics in North San Diego County as well as a medical mobile clinic. Our clients can access pediatric, adolescent, and adult medicine, dental and prenatal care, counseling and mental health services, and some specialty care. Board-certified physicians, and mid-level practitioners provide services. NCHS works with businesses to offer affordable health care to North County's workforce.
Graybill Medical Group is the nearest walk-in service with x-ray and laboratory capabilities. Graybill provides primary health care services, including x-ray pharmacy, lab, dental, adult and pediatric medicine, counseling, mental health, prenatal health education, HIV/AIDS case management and nutrition services.
Concentra Medical Center is exclusively occupational and Industrial medicine. Concentra's goal is to assist employers in controlling their worker's compensation costs and preventing worker's compensation fraud. There is no waiting behind private care patients, allowing more rapid return to work for your employees.
