Growing Pains Made Easy: CPCMG Brings Pediatric Primary Care to San Marcos
From the first wobbly steps to high school graduation, local parents know that raising healthy kids takes a village – and sometimes, a great pediatrician on speed dial.
Luckily, that village just got a major upgrade. Children’s Primary Care Medical Group (CPCMG), the region's only health network focused solely on children, opened a bright new office in San Marcos. CPCMG has grown to include more than 170 pediatricians and nurse practitioners working in 30 offices across San Diego and Riverside counties.
Conveniently located on Twin Oaks Valley Road just off the 78, CPCMG San Marcos features modern exam rooms, a separate reception area designed to keep well and sick patients apart, and a dedicated team ready to support local families from infancy through their teenage years.

CPCMG San Marcos offers regular checkups, health screenings, sports physicals, and vaccinations. They can also help with weight management, nutrition, behavior questions, and teen health.
Expecting parents can set up a free meet-and-greet before baby is born to meet their new pediatrician. CPCMG provides comprehensive newborn support to help new families navigate those first crucial months, offering expert guidance on lactation and breastfeeding, developing healthy sleep schedules, tracking developmental milestones, and answering everyday parenting questions.
Getting an appointment is easy with after-school and weekend options. Families can use an online system called MyChart to view medical records, book visits, check test results, message doctors, and ask for medicine refills. A program called Nurse Care Connect also lets parents talk to registered nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week for extra advice.
